In this episode, we talk to Felix Kuhlenkamp, security policy advisor at Bitkom, about the challenges and opportunities of the NIS 2 Implementation Act.
We take a look at the recent hearing at the Federal Ministry of the Interior and discuss the most important changes that have been requested. We also highlight the practical implementation problems for companies, especially SMEs, and the exemptions for local authorities.
It will be interesting to see how information could be exchanged with the BSI in the event of security incidents and what interactions there are between the NIS 2 Act and the Cyber Resilience Act.
